What is Liedjie?

How is Liedjie different to other streaming music services?

On how many devices can I use Liedjie?
You can access Liedjie on your phone, tablet or computer, but only one device at a time.
Why does my streaming stop?
Unfortunately Internet connection speeds are not constant – they can vary significantly from one second to the next. That’s why the data for your music streams won’t arrive at your device at a steady rate.
When the data arrives at your device, it is buffered first. Then it gets parcelled out at a steady rate. You won’t detect the uneven flow of data, because your music is constantly being streamed (played back) from the buffer. A bad Internet connection might affect streaming, because buffering will take long and time outs can occur.
How much data does Liedjie use?
We know that data is still quite expensive and we try to make your listening experience as data-lean as possible. A song of 3 minutes will use on average 1,3mb of data. We recommend that you listen freely while in wifi zones and make use of the offline saving function in the android app.
How do I listen offline?
When you open a playlist in the Liedjie app, in the top right corner of the image, you will find a star and and airplane icon. By tapping the star, the playlist will be added to your favourites tab, and by tapping the airplane icon, the playlist will start saving to your phone memory. Please wait for the circle to finish saving around the plane. Now, when you access your settings and choose flight mode, all your saved playlists will be accessible offline.
